Overview

How would you like your loved ones, family and friends, to experience nursing care? Relationship based care (RBC) is a philosophy of patient care which puts the patient and their family at the centre of nursing care. The RBC model provides a conceptual framework with a vision for care and underlying values and principles, a practical infrastructure for putting it into action, the education and leadership necessary to make it happen and ways to measure evidence of success.

This webinar is an introduction to RBC and will focus on these learning objectives:

1.  What is relationship based care?

2.  What are the elements of relationship based care?

3.  What is the impact of relationship based care?

4.  How do I implement relationship based care?

5.  Open forum on relationship based care.

The webinar will be conducted by Gen Guanci from Creative Health Care Management (www.chcm.com) in conjunction with Gilly Johnson, Director of the Australian Mentor Centre & The Nursing Centre.
